Unfortunately things are not going great for Ryan. He started vomiting a lot more over the weekend (they had to put an NG tube back in), his heart rate spiked to 157 (which is now around 120), his abdomen is swelling again. They stopped his food again and may have to start him on TPN again. They found more fluid in his abdomen from the CT scan. They are not sure what is going on exactly. They are trying to rule in or out a bowel blockage (or partial), a twist in his small intestine or maybe he is not absorbing the spinal fluid that is being drained back into his abdomen from the shunt.
Basically, we are not sure what is happening but set backs once again...We hope to know more in the next few days.
