We do want to have a recpetion following the church service and burial but we need help finding a place. We are assuming someone's home may be too small. Please contact us with any ideas or detailed information (cost etc.) (I know for Jesse's someone rented out the lakewood hills clubhouse or something like that?)

**There is a chance the dates could change if for some odd reason Ryan's body is not back from the medical examiner's office in time. The funeral home thinks the dates and times will be fine but with Ryan's luck something will change.
*****For those of you traveling from out of town. Please be mindful of the horrible Cape Cod Traffic that will be bad heading onto the Cape on Thursday night, Friday(weekenders) and on Saturday (change of cottage day). Also, lodging may be of concern because of the tourist season. Sorry for the inconviences!

I have gone to the Sandwich Tavern after and it worked out well?? Just and idea.
ReplyDeleteCan we set up an account to help contribute to the cost of the reception following Ryan's services.
ReplyDeleteThey have enough to deal with without having to worry about the cost of renting a location and feeding over 100 people. Anyone have any insight on how to go about setting up an account to help with some of this expense??
Creeden Family obviously we want to make sure this is Ok with you first but hope you will accept the help if you feel it is appropriate? Please let us know what we can do to help. The entire community is ready and willing to help you in whatever way possible!!
God bless you all.
If you are looking to rent the Lakewood Hills clubhouse I could probably help you with that, I live there. Just let me know.

Linda Tedeschi helped us reserve the Lakewood Hills clubhouse (off Quaker Mtg House Rd) for Saturday, but I am just checking with the Creeden that its ok--concerned about the # of people it can hold. I've also left a message with the Legion, and have confirmed that the Lakefield Farms clubhouse is booked.

how about hemisphere
ReplyDeleteHow about the town property at the old Hewlett Packard property. I know they do weddings & stuff, should be plenty big!
ReplyDeleteTHe Hewlett Packard property is not available. It's being used temporarily as Town Hall while the old Town Hall is being renovated.
ReplyDeleteIf the family is ok with a town owned location, I can try to arrange to use Sandwich HOllows Golf Club.
They have a huge hall upstairs for functions and it holds 100+ people.

I had my father's colation at The Beach House in North Falmouth. They have a barevemant package, and it was lovely, for about $13.00 per person. I'm sure each and every person attending would be willing to make a donation toward the cost.
