Waiting....
Ryan is still going. Not sure what else to say. They have increased his morphine concentration again, they increased his phetanol (sp?) patches and increased his ativan drip. He seems comfortable. He is still passing some urine..... We just don't know what to think anymore...Neither do the the doctors or nurses. This is just so unusual...

Hi,
ReplyDeleteYou all may not remember me, but my name is Kristen Brown. I grew up on Furnace St in Sharon and was friends with Ryan (I lived on the big farm with the white house). Jeremy Souney sent me this link. My thoughts and prayers are with Ryan and your family. There is never anything truly comforting to say at these moments but reading through this blog it is obvious that Ryan is loved and cherished by many near and far. I often wondered, after we all moved away, what became of the 'family past the high tension wires', and am saddened that this is how I got my answer but glad to see how loved Ryan and his family are by so many. I now stand amoung the ranks that are rallying for Ryan and his family.
Blessings to you all,
Kristen Brown

i wish you freedom.
ReplyDeletei wish you peace.
i wish you nights of stars that beckon you to sleep.
i wish you places that sit so still;
where people never ever change and never ever will.
i wish you armies to conquer all your fears.
i wish you courage for all that life demands.
i wish i could be there but, i can't.
i wish you peace.
we miss you, Ryan.
all of my love...
Cerissa,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time to post these updates. I know it is painstaking for you, and none of us can imagine what you and your family are feeling. Ryan has such a dynamic spirit that has touched us all, and we are all grieving along with you. You are not alone. You can't imagine how much we all appreciate you letting us share apart of this experience. Ryan has meant so much to us all and has been such a good friend. In a way, this allows us to feel like we can be there for him, allows us to concentrate our prayers and feel like we can try to give back something, a fraction of what he brought into our lives. Thank you again. We are all here- for Ryan, for you.
Many Thanks and Blessings
Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
