Ryan had a good day yesterday, moving his right leg a lot. His vitals would be high at times when he was moving around but once he would sleep they would go back down. Sat they decided to increase his feeding through the jtube a little bit. This helped him have 4 bowel movements which we thought was a good sign....
This morning we received the news that Ryan threw up last night. This is not a great sign as he has an NG tube that goes from his stomach out through his nose which should take out the extra bile in his stomach. I anticipated this happening as the last 3 times they have started to try to feed Ryan within 48 hours he throws up. We are not sure what is going on. They stopped his j-tube feedings again.
IT just seems weird that the same thing keeps happening. It seems once the feedings start he is ok for a little while, but then NG tube output increases and then eventually he throws up once they raise the amount of feedings....

ugh if it's this frustrating all the way from CT, i just can't imagine how frustrating it must be for you all right there in the thick of things.

I'm sorry that the same things keep happening. That must be very frustrating for you guys, just wondering why the doctors haven't figured out what is causing this if it happens repeatedly. I hope they can sort it out soon.
