Ryan is in surgery right now. After many tests they realized that Ryan's feedtube (which fell out on Tues) was put back in wrong. Everything since Tuesday morning that was put into his tube never made it to his stomach. It has all been accumulating in his abdomen cavity. This caused Ryan to go into septic shock which is why his blood pressure dropped, his heart rate went up, and why he has been so agitated. He has been in pain most of the day so we are happy that he is in surgery and we are hoping for the best. Just another challenge for Ryan to deal with. Hopefully the surgery (to flush out his abdomen which had over 3 liters of extra fluid in it) will be successful. We are not sure what the recovery process will be for this. Ryan was put back on a respirator as he has had a very high respiration rate as well as low volume. They are not sure if he aspirated again or not. His ct scan appears to be ok.
