Tues 4/14
Not much change for Ryan. His vitals are a little better each day. His temp is still fluctuating but overall they are able to manage it with medicine and ice packs or cooling blankets. His stomach is still producing a lot of bile and enzymes so they may decrease his feedings a little. Hopefully this will help his stomach to deflate a little and not put as much pressure on his abdomen. They are helping Ryan with his potassium and his electrolytes. Ryan is on some heavy medications for pain right now so he is out of it most of the time. Although this is hard to watch as we know the medications are not allowing him to wake up...right now they need to focus on getting his pain under control and trying to help him fight the infections that may arise from all of this.
