My folks spoke to Ryan's nurse this morning and she felt he was doing ok.
Yesterday afternoon Ryan was more responsive than he has been (as compared to when he became septic). He is opening both his eyes (sporadically) and he occasionally moves his right leg (bending just a little). It appears he is more alert and we are assuming he is feeling a little bit better. He is still on the respirator so we are hoping that will be off soon. Not much else to report at this time. Basically, he is doing the same with a tiny bit of improvement.
For whomever asked: I asked about the blood gas levels and the doctor said it was not a necessary tests as they were not concerned about it? They have other variables to go by that say this is not necessary? What are your thoughts..
