Out of Surgery Again still in Critical Care

Ryan had to have surgery today. The CT scan showed that he still had fluid in his abdomen. He had several different areas that had pools of fluid that needed to be removed. They also think that the end of his VP shunt was sitting in one of these pools. There was some slight changes in his head CT scan so we will talk to neuro about that tomorrow. They cleaned the shunt out as well and believe it is working at full capacity again. It is anticipated that Ryan will be here for at least a few more weeks. These are some very serious conditions that Ryan is battling so all we can do is wait.

  10. Hopefully they will not make these same mistakes again so Ryan's recovery can launch like it never has before.
