We do not have much new to report. Ryan seems to be adjusting well to Braintree and he is getting a lot of attention and great care which we appreciate so much. They casted (serial) his right leg yesterday to help prevent further loss of range of motion in his ankle. They will cut this off on tuesday to see if they will need to continue to cast it or not. They wanted to cast his right arm as well but Ryan put up a fight and would not let them cast his right arm. They want to do this to help him with his tone (or very tight muscles) to help him allow the muscles to stretch back out. They will try to repeat it again on Tuesday so we will see what happens there. Other than that, Ryan continues to open his eyes and does track sometimes but not consistently yet. At least he has progressed to a minimally conscious state which is a step in the right direction.
We promise to keep people posted as to when he can have more visitors. We have started it off slowly and it seems to be going well.
