Ryan had a cat scan this morning and some fluid collection was found on his left side of the brain so the doctor's decided to bring him in for surgery to drain the fluid.
They drilled a bore hole into his skull in order to allow the fluid to drain. The surgery went well. They hope to be able to remove this drain in the next day or two.
Other than that there is no real change. It appeared to us later in the afternoon that he seemed to be trying to open his eyes, although he does NOT open on command. Also, his arms appeared to be less rigid. That is all we have to update you on for now.
