Hi everyone, this is Cerissa's friend Corrie (Antonowicz) Bridgeman writing. She and her parents asked me to set up a site to keep everyone informed and updated on Ryan's progress. So, first & foremost, they had some positive signs from Ryan this morning, but his brain swelling is still up & down. No worsening is his condition though. He remains in a coma, and they are watching him closely. Cerissa will keep me posted with any news, and I'll make sure to pass it on as quickly as possible.
We hope this site will keep people updated so the family can concentrate on being with Ryan and with each other. They have limited access to the internet, but will post updates themselves if they can. If you have any messages for the Creedens, you can post them here as well. You can also contact me at corrie.bridgeman@gmail.com.
They will be setting up a donation fund today through Bank of America. We will let you know the details ASAP on this site. The fund will likely be linked directly to Mike & Loesje's account so they have easy access to the funds to take care of expenses. We anticipate that there will be 3 ways to donate: via postal mail, in person at a Bank of America branch, or if you already have a Bank of America account, you should be able to transfer funds electronically online (once signed into your account). You will need the account number and the name the account is under...I'll pass these on as soon as its set up. As you can imagine, there are many expenses already... flights, car rental, Ryan's apartment & bills, food, etc. Although flowers are certainly appreciated, they kindly ask that donations be made in lieu of sending flowers.
If anyone has ideas on how else to help the Creedens, please share them here.
Keep praying, keep thinking positively.
WE LOVE YOU RYAN! KEEP FIGHTING!
